FAQs
Am I an eligible candidate for ketamine assisted psychotherapy?
There are a few medical and psychological contraindications for ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP). These concerns can be addressed on the first free screening phone call. You must complete the medical and psychological screening evaluations prior to receiving treatment.
How does it work?
You will be scheduled for an in-person history and physical examination after completing an online medical and psychological questionnaire. Psychological screening will be performed virtually.
Do I need to have a mental health therapist prior to receiving treatment?
We strongly recommend you have mental health counseling experience. We will work in collaboration with your current therapist. If you do not have a therapist we can refer one to best match your needs. The best benefit for this treatment is the medicine in conjunction with a mental health therapist.
Do you work with insurance? What are your fees?
The practice is currently fee for service and we do not submit invoices to insurance companies. We are happy to provide a bill for you to submit to your insurance company. Please be aware some services may not be reimbursable by your insurance company. We will provide you to a link with our informed consents as well as a fee schedule if interested after our screening phone call.
